One of the top design trends of 2018 that will continue in 2019 is the use of pastel colors. Pastels are a color that has just enough white mixed into it to look pale and soft while maintaining its colorful personality. The most common pale colors we’ve seen this year are soft millennial pink, light azure, creamy mint, and whimsy yellow. Designing a bedroom is fairly simple but designing a kid’s room can feel a bit more challenging! 3 pro tips to designing a kids room... 1. Choose a color palette that is kid enough but not too baby that it won’t grow with your child 2. Choose 2-3 patterns for the room, this can be done with wallpaper, paint and bedding, anything more than 3 patterns will feel chaotic. 3. Storage!! Plan for storage, with growing children you will need it. Use things like trunks or under bed storage to help store toys and clothing.
